Summer Camp 2024 Big Horn at Circle X Ranch

You should have gotten an email about Summer Camp on Monday the 24th. Please contact Mr. Hassanein if you didn’t.

Meet at the Shed on Sunday morning to check in, turn in your forms to Mr. Hassanein, turn in your scout’s funds to Mr. Richardson (small bills–all 5s is good!–in a #10 standard envelope, with the scout’s name and the total dollar amount written on the envelope), and secure a spot for your scout and their luggage in one of the cars going to camp.

Banker and Spending Money

Please also remember to send spending money for your scout ($100 is typical), that will be handled by one of the adults as a “banker:” What worked well for me last year was to have the money in a standard #10 envelope, with the scout’s name and initial balance written at one end of the envelope. I then was able to write down the updated balance as they were withdrawn, so that everybody knew how much was left. Please send small bills! All 5s would be amazing, as the math is really easy and the banker doesn’t make change. Also please set the expectation that funds are withdrawn ONCE per day, though that will ultimately be determined by the banker. I believe Mr. Richardson will fulfill that role this year.
