| San Dieguito County Park | Park Ranger Gabriel Fischer | gabriel.fischer@sdcounty.ca.gov | An Eagle Scout himself, Gabriel facilitated Quinn Wees’ September 2023 installation of terrace steps at the 2-5 year-old playground near the ranger station in the upper part of the park. Gabriel has a lot of projects in mind for Scouts. We also worked with Amde Kifle of Park Maintenance. Scouts had the use of SD County hand tools (shovels, picks, digging bars, tape measures, etc), and a generator was used for power tools (drill, jackhammer). Sawing and jackhammering was done by the park ranger and park maintenance. Proper eye and ear protection was provided. Maintenance vehicles were available to transport heavy objects, and driven by the park ranger and park maintenance. |
